Emirates Stadium: Everyone likes to root for the underdog sometimes. That’s what happened in this match. Everyone expected Arsenal to dominate, especially when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain got a clear shot at goal which was slightly wide of the post. Late in the first half, a West Ham free kick reached Kouyate, who headed the ball past the keeper and in the net. Later, in the 57th minute, Mauro Zarate’s long-range shot found the net again to seal their win, placing West ham in second place, and Arsenal in last place.
