On July 27,2015, Bostonians “bid” farewell to Boston’s bid to host the 2024 Olympics. Boston 2024 Partnership chairman Steve Pagluica announced the following statements that day: “After speaking with Mayor Marty Walsh and governor Charlie Baker, the decision has been to withdraw Boston’s bid for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games. The committee feels that, based on the support of Bostonians for the bid, that it would struggle against strong bids Paris, Rome, Hamburg, Budapest or Toronto.”

After hearing this news on the TV, I was disappointed. I have been thinking about driving in the neighborhood to watch the Olympics live at a stadium. To make up for that, I made different games using business cards and tapes. I made soccer, basketball, javelin throwing and discuss throw. I also made tennis, but it was unsuccessful. Thankfully, the other four passed the test of endurance with flying colors! You can see the photos on the Flickr album.
