After completing my line drawing, I had an abundance of time remaining in class. So, I decided to do one of the other projects available. This drawing is of a Hershey’s Kisses, using chocolate black and white charcoal pencils on black paper. Since the color scheme available to me was very limited, I had to become innovative with how I showed different shades and colors. For example, I used light and dark sketching to show different texture effects. I also combined white and black in varying amounts to make various shades of grey to show further shading and color. I finished this drawing in about 30 minutes, and I am happy with how it came out. Let me know what you think…
