Over the course of last year, I did extensive research on the history of film and art. Using this newfound knowledge, I created a video revolving around a boy who grows up seeing the effects of climate change, ultimately going to Stanford as an environmental studies major.
I used clay to create a collection of sculptures depicting the boy at various points in his life (i.e. as a baby, young boy, teenager, etc), and also drew a variety of scenes to complement my voiceover.
I then recorded segments with these sculptures/drawings, and edited them together to create the final product. Barring music and a few images, everything is made by me. Please take a look and let me know what you think.
