Film and broadcasting have been an interest of mine for a long time now. I have always enjoyed making videos, and take pleasure in editing and creating small “movies”. This week, I got the chance to help make a video for the South Shore Science Festival. I had the opportunity to go to the headquarters of Quincy Access Television, Quincy’s local news station, and meet with some of the people that work there. Given that I may get a chance to work there as a part of my school’s broadcasting program, it was great to get to know the staff at QATV. It was a wonderful experience, and I very much look forward to doing more with the South Shore Science Festival and helping them in developing their content.
