Today, I started my 7th grade year. I was excited to return to school, while at the same time, I wished I had more vacation.
Leading up to this day, whenever anyone asked if I was excited to be back in school, I almost always said “No”. I thought that there should be some more time for vacation. Who does not like more vacation. But my parents would be like “we have had enough and when will the school start”.
When I reached school, I saw my friends and I said “hi” and the things continued on. After the day ended, my opinion changed completely. It was actually pretty fun. “This year isn’t going to be confusing at all!”, I thought in my head. Besides the trouble of opening my locker (I would keep forgetting my locker code and would have to ask my homeroom teacher if she could write it down for me!), everything else was great.
I am sure that this year is going to be a great year! So keep reading my posts as the school year moves ahead.
