On having a phone…

0

In today’s day and age, a phone is an essential to survival and success. It allows you to be versatile and efficient. It also makes you self-sufficient as you don’t have to rely on others to make a phone call, send a text message or use the numerous apps to make life easy.

Up until this point, I have watched my friends using their phones and sometimes thought about what it would be like if I had my own phone… Well, that thought has now turned to reality. I now have my own phone, an iPhone SE! It has changed my lifestyle, in more ways than one.

I have set times for waking up and sleeping, so that I can stay more consistent in how much I sleep, feel better in the morning and ready to tackle the day. Unlike my watch, whose alarm is not very loud, the phone immediately wakes me up with it’s routine wake-up call. It also tells me, how many hours of sleep I get each day, how much I walk and helps keep me fit and active.

I can keep in touch with more people than before. Now that I have my own phone like most kids in my school, we can call or text each other when needed unlike the earlier times when we used email.

All in all, it has been a massive, but indeed a very good switch, and I hope that as I continue to learn it’s numerous features, I become more efficient and things improve as time goes by.
